Franklin will be presenting at the National Staff Development 42nd Annual Conference to be held in Atlanta, GA on December 6th from 2:30-4;30 on the topic Raising Graduation Rates Regardless of Race, Ethnicity, or  Class.   Check the NSDC’s website, for additional information.

Franklin will be delivering two presentations at the 2nd Annual National Forum on Dropout Prevention Strategies for Native and Tribal Communities:  Reconnecting Native and Tribal Communities, April 18th-21 at the Sheraton Crescent Hotel in  Phoenix, Arizona.

The presentations are  Helping Students Graduate:  Strategies and Tools to Help Raise Native and Tribal Communities’ Graduation Rate and Lower the Dropout Rate and What Do Successful Leaders of At-Risk Learners Do to Raise Academic Achievement?

Franklin will be speaking for the Gloucester County Public Schools the morning of November 2nd on the topic of Helping Students Graduate:  Tools and Strategies to Help Students Stay in School and Not Dropout

Franklin will be speaking at the Model Schools Conference being held by the International Center for Leadership in Schools, www.LeaderEd.com on the topic Helping Students Graduate:  Strategies and Tools To Help Raise Graduation Rates and Lower The Dropout Rate

Franklin will be presenting a professional development workshop at Cantutillo High School in El Paso TX to the staff of the high school and members of the district.

Franklin is a featured speaker at the 21st Annual Youth At Risk Conference to be held at the Grand Hyatt in Savannah Georgia.  He will be presenting two workshops on March 3, 2010.

Franklin will be presenting a workshop for 450 educators dealing with leadership and school culture at the Gaylord Hotel in Washington DC on Friday, January 22, 2010 from 10AM to 11AM.  Hope to see you there.  Material will be drawn from my two books, From At-risk to Academic Excellence:  What Successful Leaders Do and Creating School Cultures That Embrace Learning:  What Successful Leaders Do.
